The first paper of the 2013/14 research reading group at Gray’s School of Art is Omnitheism and Democracy a manifesto by Michelangelo Pistoletto, one of the founding artists of the Italian Arte Provera in the 1960’s. It will be introduced by our guests, Fiona and Mark Hope, who currently host a collaborative AHRC (Connected Communities) Doctoral research project at Woodend Barn, a rural arts centre in Banchory. Fiona and Mark recently visited Cittedelarte founded by Pistoletto near his home town of Biella in Northern Italy and have generously offered to share their experiences and aspirations for possible future collaborations with Cittedelarte.
